Welcome to the Seventh IMEBE in Barcelona!
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and the Research Chair Antoni Serra Ramoneda (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona - Caixa Catalunya) jointly sponsor the Seventh International Meeting on Experimental and Behavioral Economics (IMEBE), organized by Jordi Brandts (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona & Institut d’Anàlisi Econòmica), Antoni Bosch-Domènech and Nagore Iriberri (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and Pedro Rey-Biel (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
The IMEBE 2011 will have five outstanding invited speakers:

- Vincent P. Crawford (University of Oxford and University of California, San Diego)
- Ernst Fehr (Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Zurich)
- Paul Glimcher (New York University)
- Matthew Rabin (University of California, Berkeley)
Important dates:
- Deadline for submissions (full paper or extended abstract): December 1st, 2010
- Notification of acceptance: January 15th, 2011
- Deadline for registration: early registration (February 15th, 2011), late registration (March 1st, 2011)
- Conference dates: April 7-9th , 2011

CONFERENCE VENUE
The conference will be held at the Barcelona Princess Hotel, easily accessible by public transportation (Metro Line 4, Forum stop).
There are a limited number of rooms with a substantial discount for earlier registers. Single-room fare includes buffet breakfast and wi-fi. (Another €12 for an extra person).
- Before March 15th: €105.
- After March 15th: €115.

How to get there:
From the airport (El Prat): take the "Aerobus" to the city center. Get off in the last stop, which is in Plaça Catalunya, and walk to the nearest Metro station ("Urquinaona"). Take Line 4 (Yellow Line), towards La Pau and stop in Maresme-Forum station. The hotel is nearby (see map in the hotel's website).
Alternatively, a taxi from the airport to the hotel should cost no more than 30 euros. It may be worthwhile to indicate to the taxi driver that this is the estimated cost you have been given, as some visitors report bad experiences.
SUBMISSION - REGISTRATION
In order to submit a paper, you will need to . After you have created the account and you have logged in, you can submit your paper and you can register for the conference.
Submission:
The deadline for submitting papers ends on the 1st of December. A scientific committee will evaluate the submissions and will notify the results by January 15th.
Registration:
The registration fee covers conference meals, coffee-breaks, the welcome reception and the conference dinner.
The deadline for registering for the conference ends on March 1st for presenting authors. Fees are:
- Before February 15th: €251.
- After February 15th and before March 1st: €302.
The registration fee for an accompanying person (including participation in the conference dinner and social events) is €75.
